THE FINE PRINT, LEGIBLY

Privacy, written to be read

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Most privacy policies are written to be accepted, not read. We tried to write one that is both. It explains what AmoreCam collects, why, who sees it, and what you can do about it — in the language of a person, not a law firm. (The lawyers have read it too; they say it's fine.)

The short version

We collect what we need to run a live video service and keep it safe, we don't sell your personal data, and you can ask us to delete what we hold about you. The rest of this page is that sentence, properly expanded.

What we collect

Account basics. When you register, we store the details you give us — such as an email address, a nickname, your age confirmation and your preferences — plus the technical data needed to keep your account secure.

Usage data. Like any online service, we log how the product is used: pages visited, features used, rough session times, device and browser type. This helps us keep the service fast, fix what breaks, and understand what people actually use.

Camera and microphone. Video and audio are what the calls are made of. Your camera and mic are only accessed after your browser asks you for permission, and you can revoke that permission at any time in your browser settings.

Support and reports. If you contact support or file a report, we keep that correspondence so we can follow up properly and keep the community safe.

Cookies

AmoreCam uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary — they keep you signed in and remember choices like your language preference. Others help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the essential parts of the site simply work better with the necessary ones enabled.

Third parties

We work with a limited set of service providers to run AmoreCam — for example hosting, content delivery, payment processing and analytics. They process data on our behalf, under contract, and only for the service they provide. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.

How long we keep things

We keep personal data only while your account is active or for as long as the purposes above require — plus a limited period afterwards where the law or legitimate safety needs ask for it (for example, records related to reports and moderation). When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Your choices

You can access, correct or delete your account information from your settings inside the app. You can also request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, at any time through the help center inside the app. Camera and microphone permissions are yours to control through your browser, and marketing messages — if we ever send them — always come with a one-tap way out.

AmoreCam is for adults 18+ only, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please let us know through the help center and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so clearly inside the app before it takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use AmoreCam after a change means you accept the updated policy.
